THE REAL CHRISPARKLE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A stunning hour of music for the ears and compassion for the planet… Accompanied by the amazing violinist Sarah Harrison and accordionist Igor Outkine, the music just flows over you as you sit there frankly entranced the whole time… the whole show was sensational; cabaret with a message – not preachy, just heartfelt, with amazing music.
THE TIMES ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a classy, relaxed and generous-spirited hour of song, dance and spoken word from a bona fide West End star turned environmental activist… Dee exudes an easy energy, slipping information - statistics, personal anecdotes - via between-song patter… Rather than get on a soapbox, Dee’s strategy is to utilise her talents - and those of a small but choice supporting cast - to raise our consciousness engagingly through entertainment.
THE STAGE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dee’s talent and charisma as a performer is a given, but this is cabaret with a purpose and Dee seamlessly promotes awareness while delivering a knockout set… she is accompanied by vocalist and performer Josephina Ortiz Lewis and dancer and choreographer Sophia Priolo, whose graceful, fluid routines lend another dimension to the musical numbers. Musical director Ed Zanders provides a sensitive accompaniment on piano, while the sensational violinist Sarah Harrison and accordionist Igor Outkine pack their own punch with some stunning Vivaldi interludes.
CORR BLIMEY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a classy afternoon it is. Gifted with wonderful support from her excellent musicians, Sarah Harrison (violin) and Igor Outkine (accordion), who open the show…and accompanied by Ed Zanders (keys) and joined by Sofia Priolo (choreographer) and Josephina Ortiz Lewis (vocalist), Dee achieves a truly inspiring cabaret of Shakespearean monologues and songs.
